Mission Statement

We are a group of women who love to ride our motorcycles as part of an independent, democratic organization that embraces the diversity of its membership. We are a law enforcement supporting group that values our local communities and work to promote a positive image of motorcycle culture by participating in community and fundraising events and mentoring women. We support each other’s goals and encourage all members to be the very best they can be while celebrating our perfectly TWISTED selves.

Vision

As a new organization our primary focus is to build a strong independent women’s riding experience that is founded upon the principles of equality, diversity and mutual respect. Our vision is to see TWISTED become a unique women’s riding experience that provides women with an alternative to traditional motorcycle clubs all the while empowering young women to embrace their unique selves.

History

TWISTED was founded through grass roots organizing in 2015-2016 because our members wanted a new type of women’s riding group experience. After searching to find one, we realized that what we were hoping to find in a women’s riding experience did not exist. After many meetings and discussions, we decided to build our own independent women’s riding experience. Hence, TWISTED – Tenacious Women Inspiring Strength Through Empowerment & Diversity was born.
